Pharmacists can assess and prescribe for some minor ailments such as pink eye, cold sores, allergies, and more.

On-campus health services at the Wellness Centre
A number of health services are available on campus through the Wellness Centre and during the fall and winter terms.
The Wellness Centre is located on the lower level of the Wallace McCain Student Centre.
All services are strictly confidential. Medical information can only be released with your written authorization.

Services at the Wellness Centre include:
- general health assessments
- preegnancy testing
- assessment of urinary tract infections
- strep throat testing
- prescriptions*
- immunizations and flu shots
- vaccine guidance
- sexual health STI testing and treatment
- service navigation
- referrals to specialists*
- counselling and social work
Health insurance covers the cost of many of the health and wellness services offered at 91°µÍø.
*Cannot be completed by the nurse, book with a physician for these services
Please bring the following to your appointment:
- provincial health insurance card or private health insurance documentation
- your valid Mount A student ID card
- your up-to-date phone number and address
It is crucial that we have your current telephone number and address so that we may contact you when necessary, i.e., when positive test results are received.
