Terms and conditions for the tuition rebate for international students

The 91做厙 International Tuition Rebate (the Rebate) is organized by 91做厙 (the University).  

DEFINITIONS: 

  • International Student means a study permit holder; 
  • P硃娶喧勳釵勳梯硃紳喧(莽) means an International Student that meets the eligibility under section 1 and who has paid the deposit of CAD $975 by 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST) on March 1, 2026; 
  • Fall 2026 Term means the Universitys academic term beginning in September 2026; 
  • Winter 2027 Term means the Universitys academic term beginning in January 2027; 
  •  Rebate Credit means a tuition reduction in the amount of $2,500.00 for the Fall 2026 Term and Winter 2027 Term; and 
  • Released Parties means any persons, respective agents, employees, directors, successors, and assigns that participate in the organization, planning, and operation of the Rebate, including the University. 

1. ELIGIBILITY 

1.1 To be eligible for the Rebate, one must: 

  • Be an International Student; 
  • Be paying international tuition fees;
  • Have received an Offer of Admission by the University; 
  • Be a full-time student who will be attending the University for the 2026-2027 academic year, commencing the Fall 2026 Term; and 
  • Pay the non-refundable registration deposit of CAD $975 by 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST) on March 1, 2026.   

1.2 Individuals who have satisfied the eligibility requirements in section 1.1 will automatically receive the Rebate Credit by credit to their student account.  

1.3 Students paying Domestic Tuition rates are not eligible for this Rebate. 

1.4 The University shall have the right at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of enrollment, proof of admission, proof of payments of the non-refundable registration deposit (CAD $975), and/or proof of immigration status in Canada (in a form acceptable to the University) to participate in the Rebate. Failure to provide such proof to the satisfaction of the University in a timely manner may result in denial of the Rebate Credit. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the University for the purpose of the Rebate must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The University reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to deny the Rebate Credit to any Participant who, at any stage, supplies untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details, or information, and/or fails to comply in whole or in part with any of these Terms and Conditions, or the spirit thereof. 

2. REBATE 

Subject to these Terms and Conditions, any Participant who pays the required tuition deposit of CAD $975 in full by 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST) on March 1, 2026, shall receive a tuition reduction in the amount of $2,500.00 for the Fall 2026 Term and $2,500.00 for the Winter 2027 Term. The Rebate Credit shall only be applied to the Participants tuition account for the Fall 2026 Term and Winter 2027 Term, in accordance with the Universitys policies. The Rebate Credit is not transferable.  

3. NO CASH VALUE OR CARRYFORWARD  

The Rebate Credit has no cash value. The Rebate Credit is applied solely as a credit toward international tuition fees. The Rebate Credit cannot be carried forward to any subsequent term or years of study at the University.  

4. RESPONSIBILITY 

The Released Parties are not responsible for any delay, postponement, suspension, rescheduling or cancellation, for any reason, of any aspect of the Rebate. No compensation whatsoever will be provided to the Participants or any other person or entity in the event of such delay, cancellation or other circumstances contemplated herein.  

5. INDEMNIFICATION BY THE PARTICIPANTS 

Each Participant releases and holds each of the Released Parties harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the Participant, Released Party or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any Rebate Credit, participation in this Rebate, or any breach of these Terms and Conditions. Each Participant also agrees to fully indemnify the Released Parties from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Rebate, without limitation. 

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Participants assume liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Rebate, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive the Rebate Credit or any portion thereof. The Released Parties assume no responsibility or liability in the event that the Rebate cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of the University, such as infection by tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Rebate. 

7. CONDUCT 

By participating in this Rebate, each Participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which will be posted at /admissions/international-student-admissions. The University reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to deny the Rebate Credit to any Participant found to be: (i) violating the Terms and Conditions; (ii) tampering or attempting to tamper with the process or the operation of the Rebate; and/or (iii) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. 

8. PRIVACY & USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION 

By participating in the Rebate, the Participant grants to the University the right to use his/her/their name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address (the Personal Information) for the purpose of administering the Rebate Credit. 

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans, and representations are owned by the University and/or their affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited. 

10. TERMINATION AND AMENDMENTS 

The University reserves the right to withdraw, amend or suspend this Rebate (or to amend these Terms and Conditions) in any way, in the event of any cause beyond the reasonable control of the University that interferes with the proper conduct of this Rebate as contemplated by these Terms and Conditions, including, without limitation, any error, problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or failure of any kind whatsoever. 

Further, the University reserves the right to adjust any of the dates, time frames and/or other Rebate mechanics stipulated in these Terms and Conditions, to the extent deemed necessary by the University, for purposes of verifying compliance by any Participant and/or other information with these Terms and Conditions, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the University, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Rebate as contemplated in these Terms and Conditions, or for any other reason. 

11. PRIORITY 

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Terms and Conditions and disclosures or other statements contained in any Rebate-related materials, including, but not limited to television, print or online advertising and/or any instructions or interpretations of these Terms and Conditions given by any representative of the University, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

12. GOVERNING LAW 

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions or the rights and obligations of participants, University or any of the other the Released Parties in connection with the Rebate shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the domestic laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdictions laws.

Provincial attestation letters (PAL)

Students who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada need a valid study permit to attend 91做厙. Most international students need to provide an attestation letter from the province or territory where they plan to study before they apply for a study permit.

  • receive an unconditional offer of admission (or an offer of admission via one of our language pathway options)
  • pay your registration deposit
